This dance and aerial work is an attempt to breathe life and give shape to depression. Performed with iterations of fabric, Bad Days, Dark Days presents two variations of the depressive’s everyday – one, the private grappling with emotional regression, the other, the sincere effort to render the emotions invisible to the outside world.

Testimonials:

“Watched Nicole Malbeuf perform a new show ‘Bad Days, Dark Days’ in Peterborough with Public Energy this evening. She has an incredible talent, equal parts artistry, physicality, and story-telling ability. I haven’t seen an aerialist with this much to say before … beautiful!” – Debbie Harrison

Saw your show last night. It was such a beautiful synthesis of storytelling and conception, technical skill and a vulnerable performance. That’s the mark that we’re all aiming for as performers.” – Kelsey Gordon Powell
